EDUCATORS

Why Participate

Go beyond traditional professional development with real-world experiences that transform how you teach and how your students see their future.

THE EDUCATOR EXPERIENCE

STEMersion is a week unlike any other professional development experience.

At STEMersion, educators trade their desks for industry floors, simulation labs, manufacturing facilities, technology centers, and hands-on experiences. They meet the people behind the careers, explore the technologies shaping our economy, and discover firsthand how classroom concepts connect to the real world.

But STEMersion isn’t just about what educators experience—it’s about what they do with it. Throughout the week, participants are challenged to think outside the box, collaborate in teams, solve real-world problems, and connect with fellow educators and industry professionals. They take what they learn and turn it into relevant lesson plans and projects designed to be adapted across grade levels and brought directly back into local classrooms.

It’s immersive, collaborative, and designed to challenge educators to think differently. Participants leave with more than new knowledge—they leave with real experiences, meaningful connections, classroom-ready resources, and a renewed sense of what’s possible for their students.

Get out of the classroom. Experience the workforce. Bring it back.

"STEMersion provided the tools needed to help my students that are struggling learners. I am in a better position to give them information to help them have a successful future."

Teacher, Fort Dorchester High

"I learned a lot about the world of business and job opportunities. Also about the soft skills that we all need to learn, and how significant it is for teachers to apply in the classroom."

Teacher, Woodland High

"The regular school day leaves little to no time for collaborating with tri-county peers, much less industry professionals. Thank you for providing access to both of these contacts."
